INTRODUCTION

As a Director of Sales with Outlier Jets, you will represent the company and values to new customers and members.  Like most high-earning sales positions, you will be responsible for sales targets, and success is accomplished through hard work and becoming a subject matter expert.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of welcoming “net new” business.

THE POSITION



The Director of Sales will be responsible for sales goals through prospecting, negotiating, and closing new jet card business and ad hoc flights. The ideal candidate will be motivated by competing, winning, and learning.  This role is ideal for candidates who obsess on prospecting and generating “net new” business for the company.  


This role will work directly with ultra-high-net-worth prospective members and will have the opportunity to attend various events that coincide with Outlier’s demographic.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prospect for and field inbound inquiries for new jet card prospects and charter flights 
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to effectively manage activity and cultivate new opportunities
  • Create strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for events or partnership
  • Development of a personal sales plan
  • Work with the marketing team to create messaging and communication urgency within the pipeline through creative monthly/quarterly offers and incentives
  • Consistently exceed sales quota


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a positive outlook
  • Self-motivation
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years as a quota-bearing sales rep and demonstrate a track record of success in that role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to forge long-lasting relationships
  • An understanding of the private aviation industry or a willingness to learn
  • Experience with ultra-high-net-worth consumers is preferred
  • Must be a quick learner and make people feel welcomed
