Senior Sales Commission Analyst

How You Will Impact The Organization…

This role requires ability to analyze various different compensation plans, data streams and systems in order to monitor, troubleshoot, improve processes, and generate statements and management reporting. This person will be required to meet critical deadlines while maintaining organization and efficiency. The analyst will monitor and analyze all aspects of commission-based compensation, prepare and communicate commission statement results and recommend modifications in alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Own all tactical aspects of sales commissions: including data aggregation, commission calculations, statement generation, and dashboard/KPI reporting.
  • Own sales commission software: loading data, designing plans, creating rules and end user reporting.
  • Maturity when working with confidential salary information
  • Consistently meet critical deadlines
  • Identify data and process errors while working cross functionally to remediate.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continuous change.
  • Viewed as the subject matter expert and liaison to the sales team to address commission plan calculations and administration related questions.
  • Develop appropriate metrics to monitor and gauge effectiveness of plan designs.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for finance and sales management review.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, HR, Legal and Finance teams.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.


What You Will Bring To The Table…

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 3+ years of related financial analysis or sales operations experience.
  • 2+ years experience in analyst role
  • Experience using sales commission software systems, preferably Spiff.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel (power query, advanced formulas, pivot tables), comfortable working with large, complex data sets.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a larger team.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, HR, Legal and Finance teams.

Additional Details…

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Braintree, Massachusetts preferred.)
  • Travel requirements: 10% Travel
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No


The salary range for this role is $77,000- $87,000. The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include [annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.]
