Pete & Gerry’s seeks a talented Senior Manager of Revenue Management reporting to the Director of Sales Planning and Revenue Management. This individual will be charged with developing strategies that leverage pricing, promotion, price pack architecture (PPA), and mix to drive top and bottom-line growth for Pete & Gerry’s brands. This individual will be responsible for supporting sales, marketing, and finance teams with recommendations on pack architecture, pricing, and promotions for current and future portfolio, leveraging industry best practices, shopper, and consumer trends.
Responsibilities:
Price Management
pricing and analytics across the brand portfolio to ensure optimized price pack architecture and attractive pricing vs. competition (e.g., competitive price gap and elasticity measurement, pack price curves, price & promo simulations)
Sales & Profit impact based on pricing adjustments and elasticities
post-pricing analysis on performance, execution, and competitive response
with Marketing on pricing recommendations for innovation
retail pricing landscape and Pete & Gerry’s pricing status (e.g., Price Thresholds, Price Slopes, Competitive gaps) to facilitate pricing awareness, discussions and action plans with senior leaders and sales team
Trade Strategy & Analytics
annual development of promotional strategy and top-down trade budget
guardrails and go-to-market strategies / AMPS for key accounts
post event promotion analytics (ex. lift, ROI) to identify opportunities for improved effectiveness while identifying trends across different retailers to assist with developing strategic initiatives
monthly promotion trackers to monitor P&G performance, depth and frequency vs. competition and identify gaps
Shopper Marketing Management
with Marketing to define customer-specific shopper marketing plans and manage account level execution (e.g., retailer.com, customer-specific coupon programs)
post event ROI analysis and continuously optimize spend against most efficient tactics
customer compliance to aligned plans
Retailer Partner Compliance
compliance to aligned planograms and executing trade/shopper on time at the appropriate stores with planned Feature/Display support
ongoing price management and account compliance to established price targets
Professional Qualifications:
degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Applied Mathematics; Masters degree preferred
acquired through 6 or more years of work experience
of 4 years of experience in one of the following areas, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
Revenue Management (preferred)
Finance functions
Analytics
understanding of Pricing and RGM principles
candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
in TPM/TPO systems
problem solving and analytical skills (extensive experience using Excel required, PowerBI experience preferred)
interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross functionally; ability to present findings and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner
to process and manipulate syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen) and internal financials, conduct effective diagnostic analysis and synthesize findings to draw insights and actionable recommendations
of multi-tasking under high-pressure situations
