**Senior Research Scientist - Building Materials Sector**

Located in Cincinnati, OH, we're seeking a Senior Research Scientist dedicated to pioneering advancements within PVC product development. This role requires an individual keen on working with return polymers and who is ready for their work to have substantial impacts on sales and process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead research projects focusing primarily on innovative use of 60% recycle PVC resin.

- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and various departments toward enhancing material quality.

- Employ Continuous Improvement (CI) techniques alongside Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Demonstrated experience dealing with polymer technologies; specifically proficiency around the utilization of PVC resins in commercial applications.

- Proven track record applying CI principles as well as mastering Lean Six Sigma tactics aimed at improving operational workflows resulting in tangible efficiency gains.

- PhD with 0-5 years of experience or 5 years of relevant experience with an MS or 8+ years of experience with a B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering
