Job Location: Miami, FL regional office for LVMH Beauty (Travel Retail Americas & Latin America)
Hybrid Schedule: 2 remote work days per week
The role of the Senior Regional Retail Education Manager, Beauty is to spearhead the development and implementation of the Makeup and Skincare Education plan and contents for Travel Retail Americas, serving as the image and voice of Dior Makeup and Skincare. This position is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of Beauty expertise in PCD Travel Retail across the 3 regions of the Americas (North America, Central America, and South America, including airports, duty free stores, cruise ships).
This role establishes a crucial connection between the region, the education leadership team, and the strategies and tools necessary for driving business, motivating, and inspiring teams, and enhancing the customer experience across all markets.
The Senior Regional Retail Education Manager, Beauty is the Ambassador of Dior Makeup and Skincare for any event with influencers or VVICs and is responsible for both developing and piloting all experts (peers, Makeup Squad, Makeup regional trainers, specialists) of the region.
They are also directly in charge of the 3-axes Education deployment strategy and budget for the Central America sub-region, managing a regional trainer and a Makeup Squad whose perimeters of action are primarily in their region but not exhaustive.
The Senior Regional Retail Education Manager, Beauty reports directly to the Retail and Education Regional Director based in Miami.
Beauty Training actions:
Define and communicate regional Beauty strategy, formalize structurally for important momentums (Budget, Go To Market Meetings).
Relay brand strategy for Beauty and represent the field by sharing insights.
Deliver expert education programs and tools for Beauty Consultants (BC), Makeup/Skincare/Beauty specialists and experts.
Oversee Makeup and Skincare certifications and conduct regular performance assessments.
Develop and coach Makeup/Beauty specialists and experts on both hard skills (beauty curriculum) and soft skills.
Collaborate to establish goals and monitor groups of specialists & experts; lead individual growth and ROI.
Collaborate in the Makeup & Skincare specialists and experts recruitment process.
Create regional and local retail education projects: training materials (tutorials), module creation, etc.
Continuously enhance BC engagement and passion for makeup and skincare.
Co-facilitate regional and local Retail Education seminars.
Collaborate closely to create or enhance Makeup and Skincare best practices.
Business Partner actions:
Define and implement the training plans aiming at developing sales and expertise in Central America (CAM).
Collaborate closely with the CAM Commercial team on elevating the brand & team on Key airports.
Execute Coaching and 3-axes training (online, live or at point of sale) when needed.
Support retail performance and education team for any regional project(s) to deploy in Central America.
Manage and develop a Makeup Artist regional trainer.
Retail Events:
Develop specific actions to enhance Makeup desirability, expertise, and engagement at the point of sale (POS).
Build up on skincare/cross sell potential in selected key locations.
Execute VIP or trade initiatives (PR events, pop-ups, key animations), elevate brand image and customer experience.
Train and prepare field personnel for any key event execution or activation in key airports.
Manage and develop the Makeup (MUP) squad, monitor its results and supervise budget.
Digital:
Conduct visible actions on operator’s social networks (IG lives, Beauty classes) or platforms when applicable.
Create & manage an official IG account following specific guidelines from headquarters if applicable.
Trigger any digital creative initiative as dictated by the context and business need.
Disseminate Dior Beauty knowledge and desirability by demonstrating the ability to train and communicate remotely.
Build & Conduct online 3-axes training for Central America or specific Beauty training for other sub-regions.
Relevant Scope Measures:
Consolidate Makeup & Skincare (Beauty) career path plans for Travel Retail Americas (all 3 sub-regions).
Collect & analyze individual productivities and KPIs of MUP/Beauty specialists for TR Americas (all 3 sub-regions).
Monitor performance of Beauty and cross sell KPIs in coordination in Key airports.
Continuous follow-up on Makeup & Skincare services and sales results, providing support as a business partner.
Ideal Profile:
Makeup artistry/application studies or similar certification
Preferably a minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior trainer or training manager in luxury beauty
Leadership track record and strong interpersonal skills
Used to work in fast path and multicultural environment
Preferably, retail knowledge with a sales-oriented approach
Strong passion for transmission (technical & practical)
High motivation and beauty sensibility
Genuine interest in the cosmetic and luxury industry
Previous experience in Travel Retail appreciated
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in execution
Curiosity and open-mindedness
Proficiency in Office 365, social media apps
Language: Full fluency in both English and Spanish required; Portuguese would be a plus.
Must be able to travel internationally throughout region 60%-70%
