We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer who is involved in the entire product development life cycle and is motivated to deliver high-quality software products. Working on fast-paced Agile team(s), focused on building functionality to support our Advent Portfolio Exchange solution. Close collaboration in a cross-functional team of Software Developers, QA engineers and Product Managers (collocated in USA and China).

What You Will Get To Do

• Define new feature test strategy and demonstrate deep domain expertise.
• Design, develop, support new and existing automation framework.
• Maintain and troubleshoot test environments.
• Monitor and enhance CI/CD pipeline process.
• Understand solution to be tested and underlying accounting; business/domain, and how end users interact with the solution.
• Advocate and champion quality mindset across your team(s) and the solution(s) – build-in quality, testable code, automation-first, shift-left test.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or other relevant majors or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in testing and delivering high quality applications for enterprise software environments.
• Agile methodologies including Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of complete QA release cycle and executing different types of testing.
• Hands-on work with Object-Oriented test automation frameworks.
• Portfolio accounting and/or Investment industry experience.
• Understanding of financial instruments and how they apply to today’s marketplace.
• Experience with database is a must.
• Proficient in at least one coding language.

Recommended Qualifications

• Automated testing or relative development experience; be able to setup automation framework and create automation scripts.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery process; scripting deployment with shell commands.
• Experience with writing automation with the following languages: JavaScript, Python, TypeScript
• API testing platforms; Postman, Pytest, or similar frameworks.
• UI testing platforms; Pytest, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Performance testing platforms; Locust.io, JMeter, or other similar tools.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions.

California: Salary range for the position: 130,000 USD to 140,000 USD.
