The Quality Assurance Analyst provides quality assurance (QA) services in the information technology area.

The Department is responsible for ensuring property tax assessment and local government budgeting is carried out by law. The Department is charged with publishing property tax assessment rules and annually reviewing and approving the tax rates and levies of every political subdivision in the state, including all counties, cities, towns, townships, school corporations, libraries, and other entities with tax levy authority.
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
Conduct procedures to ensure that all IT systems, products, and services meet minimum standards and requirements.
Work closely with the applications development team during software development, including areas of applications development, operations/technical support, and security.
Administer change control processes to ensure zero defect software development.
Document testing data, findings, and reports.
Provide requested weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports and regular updates to the assigned manager/supervisor.
Devise improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
Perform workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
Recommend new/improved QA practices and procedures;
May assist with the preparation of QA documents, manuals, training curriculum, and training sessions.
