We are at the forefront of Oracle ERP implementations and are seeking a seasoned Delivery Project Manager to lead and drive successful outcomes for our clients.
As the Delivery Project Manager within our Global PMO, you will be pivotal in managing end-to-end implementations of functional and technical solutions for our diverse clientele. This position demands a diverse project manager who can collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and deliver project objectives. The successful candidate will lead the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and successful delivery within established parameters.
Responsibilities
As the Delivery Project Manager within our Global PMO, you will be pivotal in managing end-to-end implementations of functional and technical solutions for our diverse clientele. This position demands a diverse project manager who can collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and deliver project objectives. The successful candidate will lead the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and successful delivery within established parameters.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Implement strategic approaches to application implementations, aligning project goals with client business objectives.
- Tracks cost and schedule and uses analytical skills to forecast trends
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide regular updates and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a diverse project team, including functional leads, technical experts, and consultants, ensuring collaboration and efficient communication.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Makes independent decisions and recommendations while managing a project. Broad knowledge of functional areas and ability to implement and lead organizational project change effectively.
- Oversees, motivates, and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addressing any performance gaps.
- Implements communication tools and processes to ensure all team members are informed about project status and key performance indicators.
- Communicates project requirements, contractual requirements, customer expectations, KPI, and project status with the project team.
- Resolves issues and conflicts within the project team including the customer.
- Works collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives
- Effectively relates with people across levels, functions, geography, and cultures.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Address issues and challenges promptly to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee that the solution meets client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain the highest standard of project deliverables.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate effectively with various consultants and vendors, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage relationships with external partners and hold them accountable for deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 15 years of Project Management experience with:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager leading Global Business Transformation Projects
- Extensive experience with the implementation of Project-based ERP and/or Project Control systems
- In-depth knowledge of various applications and their functionalities
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is required.
- Proven experience in leveraging the Agile Method of Project Management and associated tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, and/or Confluence.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
