Senior Project Manager

Parisleaf United States

About You

You’re a natural leader who thrives in an environment where your ability to build and maintain relationships is equally important to your attention to detail and ability to focus on the tools and data that keep our projects on track and our agency profitable. Jumping from meeting to meeting with a positive and generous spirit while seamlessly updating your team with notes, tasks, changes, and impacts is second nature to you.

You’re a great listener who can quickly understand branding and communication challenges from a client’s perspective, work with the team to craft and vet the proper strategy that aligns with our client’s goals, and translate those needs into process & action items. You’ve experienced both success and failure many times when managing projects and know how to spot a strategy that is not working and pivot quickly into a new plan.

You recognize that clear, concise, and candid communications help everyone to succeed. The velocity at which you deliver good news is the same for bad news. You care about transparency in communications and flagging issues or initiating difficult conversations when needed. And you can do it all calmly and confidently–in writing, just as well as in person.

Our clients see you as a partner throughout the entire process. You’re motivated, flexible, and highly curious. You thrive in an open, collaborative environment. You care as much about our core values (gratitude, responsibility, integrity, candor, and empathy) as we do.

You are highly organized, with strong task management, timeline, and communication skills. You are responsive and flexible while not losing sight of details. You are incredible at note-taking and following-up. You are in your element in a fast-paced environment. Often described as a power-user, you naturally gravitate towards tools and systems that encourage order and clarity.

You will be working with the best of the best, including designers, creative directors, writers, strategists, web designers & developers, and management during every phase of our projects. One of your greatest callings and personal fulfillments is to set others up for success - whether it be the internal creative team, or our partners themselves. You thrive in bringing clarity & process to ambiguity, it’s like that’s what you were born to do, and you never run out of ideas on ways to make it happen.

You’re experienced in project management in an agency setting, and can use that experience to support a team to be more efficient and effective and to adhere to agency policies and procedures. And you’re not bashful about addressing issues when you see them. You enjoy learning as well as mentoring and are eager to build upon Parisleaf’s PM discipline, champion project management best practices, and support agency operations as we continue to grow.

Your biggest strengths are your confidence and “can do” attitude. You have a strong sense of pride in the quality of work being produced. You would rather do what’s best for our partners rather than merely striving to make them happy at all costs, understanding that what’s best for our partners isn’t always what appears to be what will make them happiest in the moment. You understand that our role is to strategically advise and partner rather than take orders and seen as a vendor; and you’ve learned how to truly address a client’s concerns in a way that is affirming, winsome, and confident.
