Senior Project Architect

Russell and Dawson Inc. is Designing Spaces with Trust and Creativity since 1965. We are an architecture and engineering firm with over 10,000 projects across various sectors.

We are seeking Senior Project Architects to support building-design projects for new construction, additions, alterations, and code compliance. An applicant will be responsible for architectural projects, existing conditions documentation, architectural design, code compliance, construction documents, contract administration, and project close-out. The role primarily involves managing communication with internal team, clients, consultants, contractors while working with the principals.

Qualifications

• B.Arch. or M.Arch. from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience including construction documents
• Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft office products.
• Connecticut Architectural License is a plus.
• Experience with K-12 projects is a plus.
• Successful completion of at least one LEED certified project is a plus
