The Impact You’ll Make

As a Senior Program Manager for Long Term Planning at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects and programs for the Planning Operations team. You will help manage operational KPIs and manage strategic programs including the Long Term Planning program to drive operational readiness. You will work with marketing and analytical teams to create a 18-36 month forecast, which is then distributed to Global Operations to appropriately size the business to support the build plan. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure inputs into the forecasting model are validated and aligned.

Location of the position can be in Tualatin, OR, or Fremont, CA.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage medium to large scope projects for the Planning Operations group to help solve complex cross-functional business problems.
  • Facilitate and create content for executive level operations reviews.
  • Build solutions that will improve business processes and support critical business strategies by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights for management to support decision making through data collection and analysis.
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirements.
  • Run change management for process updates, BKMs, project deployments.

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in an engineering or operations role with demonstrated Project Management skills in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders in heavily matrixed environment.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills for data-based decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
  • Project management certifications and problem solving preferred: PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma, Scrum Master, 8D, 5 Whys.
  • Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
