Senior Program Manager, Employee Experience & Engagement

As part of our growing Talent Management team, the Employee Experience & Engagement Senior Program Manager is responsible for developing strategies to improve engagement and manage programs and processes in the following areas: employee experience, employee engagement, employee survey design, employee journey management, anniversary and recognition programs, culture, and performance. This role will be an integral part of our HR/Talent Management team and work collaboratively with the Director, Organizational Development, HRBP team, and other stakeholders to understand the current landscape and desired future state, and drive engagement strategies designed to cultivate a strong culture and engaged workforce.

This Senior Program Manager, Employee Experience & Engagement Will

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create the employee experience strategy, philosophy, framework, and recognition program, including designing impactful events, campaigns, culture programs, and supporting resources.
  • Create ways to amplify and embed our Core Values, EDI, and EVP into employee programs: build employee connections; keep employees informed, engaged, and inspired to strengthen their sense of meaning and belonging to our culture.
  • Conduct surveys and listening campaigns to ensure solutions are grounded by the voice of the employee.
  • Using a data-driven approach, develop strategies across the entire lifecycle of the Employee Experience journey focusing on moments that matter.
  • Promote engagement as a strategic priority: oversee and lead cross-functional steering committees and working groups to align on key engagement/culture/wellbeing initiatives while gaining support across the organization at the executive level.
  • Operationalize the engagement strategy: manage vendor RFP process, survey cadence, audience analysis, communication, and survey process; provide quality control of survey items/questions for fairness, validity, reliability.
  • Support the organization in driving improvement: interpret data and bring in data points and analytics outside of employee engagement; develop plans/processes to address organization/system-wide priorities.
  • Use integrated analytics to bridge data across patient experience, workforce experience, clinical and safety outcomes.
  • Create and monitor measures of effectiveness, including turnover, employee engagement scores, patient experience, etc.
  • Serve as a senior advisor in identifying team and organizational issues and developing scalable engagement solutions; provide support to leaders and HRBPs for developing meaningful improvement plans at the team and leader level.
  • Champion our leadership development programs to ensure employees feel heard, valued, and respected.

To Qualify, You Must Have

  • BA degree, MA preferred in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Human Resources, or closely related field.
  • At least 10 years of related experience.
  • Expertise with engagement programs, recognition programs, performance, wellbeing, organizational change, culture programs, communications, and event planning.
  • Deep expertise with engagement survey platforms, such as Press Ganey and Gallup
  • Highly developed communication skills in order to effectively build stakeholder relationships, collaborate, and manage conflicting views or issues.
  • Exceptional data analytic skills with ability to interpret data, provide reporting, and summarize complex technical information.
  • Familiarity with learning design, adult learning principles, and group/team facilitation.
  • Familiarity with Kirkpatrick or Phillips levels of evaluation; ability to analyze data to produce bottom-line measures and generate insights that inform future strategy.
  • Certifications Preferred: Design thinking, data analytics, Prosci, Kirkpatrick, CPTD, SIOP, SHRM
