Description
We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our Production team as a Senior Production Manager. In this role, you will manage the entire production lifecycle and help to lead and implement growth strategies and programs across all channels!
Support the VP of Production in partnering with design, product development, technical design, merchandising, and operations to ensure first quality goods are being developed, produced, and delivered on time at best possible cost.
Work in collaboration with the product team on sourcing, allocation, quality control, material research, and vendor selection/allocations to meet/exceed company goals.
Own relationship with overseas vendors both internal and external to ensure deadlines, standards, and expectations are met and proactively communicate and manage any delays.
Review and approve final buys are in accordance with production capacity and MOQ. Partner with Planning and Product to ensure IMUs are met.
Oversee and report costing, delivery and quality metrics for finished goods allowing for better informed decision making on promotions and marketing launches. Generate actual landed cost report.
Execute pre-costing negotiations and cost engineering exercises to evaluate and determine material/program viability with the aim to maximize profit.
Attend all necessary meetings (Inclusive of Fittings) to ensure end to end production is met for both fit, cost, and quality. Provide clear, accurate and concise outputs.
Manage POs by confirming orders with our logistics team as well as communicating orders to our overseas teams and factories. This also includes following up weekly to ensure production is completed correctly.
Oversee end-to-end quality of product and factory compliance. Inclusive of all QC activity and testing procedures
Partner with the Logistics Team to ensure all HTCs codes are accurate and the most cost-effective mode of transportation is utilized to hit ATS.
Own Set up and onboard of new vendors.
Lead weekly AP meetings. Track and monitor vendor account status and outstanding payments.
Train and manage junior team members to ensure milestones are being met.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop tags/labels/packaging.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years of relevant experience in Production
Experience with knitwear production is a preferred
