Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Producer/Production Coordinator. This full-time position will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating all aspects of our production projects. The successful candidate must have a strong background in production coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Project Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of production projects, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
Budgeting and Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Crew Coordination: Hire and manage crew members, including camera operators, sound technicians, editors, and other production staff. Coordinate crew schedules and ensure all necessary equipment and resources are available.
Location Scouting and Permits: Conduct location scouting, obtain necessary permits, and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
Talent Management: Coordinate casting calls, auditions, and talent bookings. Oversee talent contracts and ensure all necessary releases and agreements are obtained.
Production Logistics: Arrange transportation, accommodation, and catering for crew and talent. Coordinate equipment rentals and purchases as needed.
Production Support: Provide on-set support during shoots, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting any issues, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Post-Production Coordination: Collaborate with editors and post-production team to ensure timely delivery of final products. Review and provide feedback on drafts, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on final deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in production coordination, preferably within the film or video production industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, crew members, and talent.
Proficiency in project management, software and tools.
Knowledge of industry-standard production equipment, techniques, and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by production schedules.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-location shoots.
