As a Supplier Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for led categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and customers. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and executing negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal partners, driving best-in-class, cost, supply and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier and Business Management
- Partnering with the Engineering team, facilitate Executive level reviews with suppliers which address commercial and technical needs to enable technologies required for Micron’s roadmap and lead Global
- Identify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings Levers
- Support Micron Supplier Qualification Process, assess Supply Chain Risk and Business Continuity Assessment
- Communicate Micron Supplier Quality Requirement Documentation and also publish Financial and Legal Risk Profile for new Suppliers
- Sourcing in accordance with Micron Capital Category Strategies
- Identify potential new Suppliers and to also monitor Supply & Demand Dynamics
- Disseminate Competitive Landscape information
- Lead Procurement Strategies for new Materials or Equipment (creation, partner input, communication, and execution)
- Complete documentation (NDA, SOW, CDA, JDP) and evaluate Agreements) in support of TD development efforts
- Negotiate Total Cost of Ownership projections and commitments and apply current supplier performance information to secure improvements for future performance
- Provide input into Global Supplier Strategies and to coordinate with TD, WWOPs and Procurement team members
- Communicate Total Cost of Ownership projections and commitments and coordinate Forecast Projections for new Materials and Equipment
- Partner with Engineering to establish Equipment and Materials Specifications
- Ensure two-way interaction with HVM GCM and OCT team members
- Partner with Technology Development team here in the Singapore office to set and handle budgets
- Align with TD Procurement Partners located at our headquarters and other TD locations to develop strategies to successfully achieve budget
- Track Supplier performance to budget and key investment in Technology Programs
- Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate between Procurement teams located in Singapore, Micron’s headquarters and other TD locations.
- Maintain and publish updates key TD programs and initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience

- 5 years experience in any of the following:

- Purchasing/Procurement
