A client in Jacksonville FL is seeking a Remote Senior Procurement Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities:
In this role, the Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for procuring inventory, materials, office supplies, and capital goods
Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized
Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value
Keep records of all acquisitions to ensure that purchases remain within budget and on schedule
Develops specifications for new contract orders
Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards
Develops purchasing programs for the corporation
Develops purchasing arrangements with vendors and suppliers
Provides pricing quotes, completes purchase orders, and processes requisitions for client
Develop and investigate supply sources, and issue request for quotations, proposals, or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement
Resolves outstanding issues, complies with vendor requests and responds to client inquiries
Receive requisitions and check each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements
Negotiates with vendors to ensure inventory is acquired in a cost effective and timely manner
Serve as liaison to vendors and suppliers
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
Reporting and Analytics experience
Program Management experience
Procurement experience
Organized
Attention to detail
Raindrop experience
Experience with Excel/Outlook/Teams
Knowledge of supply chain or procurement functions and procedures
Knowledge of vendor relations
Knowledge of project management methods and techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors)
Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
