Senior Portfolio Advisor

Leadenhall Search is partnering with a global alternative investment advisory firm that is seeking an experienced professional for their Portfolio Advisory team, focusing on Real Assets. The candidate should have significant experience managing a large portfolio of primary, secondary, and direct investments in infrastructure, real estate, and natural resources. Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and growing the firms Real Assets business.
2. Collaborating with clients on portfolio development, including design, planning, and investment selection.
3. Providing flexible solutions tailored to client challenges and implementing them within complex constraints and governance structures.

The position is flexible in location and reports to the Co-Heads of Advisory Americas.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing client relationships to create successful investment portfolios in Real Assets.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investor prospects and existing clients.
• Sharing expertise in real assets and mentoring team members.
• Speaking at various events, including conferences, client board meetings, and prospect pitches.
• Leveraging firm-wide resources to meet clients' needs.
• Contributing to sector-level research in collaboration with research team heads and other decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience managing real asset portfolios or assisting institutional investors in this area.
• Strong knowledge of alternative strategies like private equity, private credit, and hedge funds.
• Established relationships with institutional investors.
• High motivation, organizational skills, effective communication and writing abilities.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
