The Senior Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Administrator is responsible for leading the system configuration, reporting and data integrity of the PLM system. The role involves definition and implementation of solution enhancements including workflows, reports, and CAD/PLM/ERP interfaces. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the Senior PLM Administrator will also provide user support and training sessions.


This position is based out of our headquarter location in Minneapolis, MN. Assistance with relocation to the area may be available for qualified candidates.


Responsibilities

  • Optimize PLM system configuration to provide best usability and data access speed
  • Debug and troubleshoot Teamcenter server issues
  • Provide front line user support of PLM functionality and data availability
  • Define and run PLM data quality checks to ensure smooth part and BOM transfer to the ERP system
  • Maintain, execute and troubleshoot PLM-ERP interface
  • Maintain process and documentation for PLM change package releases
  • Document and propose improvements to PLM data model and ERP interface
  • Develop and test solutions in collaboration with end-users, execute production migration and post-install support
  • Plan and execute data conversion and bulk uploads of CAD, document, item and bill of material data
  • Create and maintain deployments for PLM installations
  • Develop PLM training material and instruct users
  • Mentor junior level team members


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Business, or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with administering and configuring PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred or 3D Experience, Enovia, ProFile or Windchill, etc)
  • Working experience with Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture and Active Workspace
  • Knowledge of Linux OS, BASH Shell Scripts, SQL and Java
  • Proven experience with PLM – ERP interface operations
  • Proven ability to configure and manage PLM workflows
  • Demonstrated high motivation and ability to working with minimal supervision


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with managing CAD data within a PLM environment
  • Experienced with training business users with new processes and technologies
  • Familiarity with problem solving skills and lean process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred
  • Ability to install Teamcenter on multi-server Linux environment
