Accounting Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client in hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist. This position offers a 100% remote schedule managing a payroll for 1,200+ employees. An overview of the position is as follows:
Responsibilities Included
Manage payroll for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data; resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, and other payroll details.
Determine and approve payroll liabilities including taxes for federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
Maintain payroll policies, ensure legal compliance, and protect confidentiality of payroll information.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or other related field.
5+ years of payroll administration experience working for a medium to large organization.
Must have Paycom experience and advanced MS Excel skills using v-Look up and pivot tables.
Experience in payroll tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and time management.
Intermediate MS Office Suite and experience with construction software.
Compensation And Benefits
The compensation for this position starts at $45.67 per hour. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.
