Job Title: Senior Ocean Import Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage ocean import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs documentation and import requirements.
• Liaise with carriers, agents, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient shipment processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ocean import coordination within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong knowledge of ocean import regulations and customs requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
