The company is a multi-$B company that produces Industrial and Consumer Products.

The company expansion in Atlanta with significant Capital Investment requires is looking to add a Network Engineer

Job Function:

• Work with LANs, WANs and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches and other hardware.
• Design new networks, interface with new and old equipment, interface with internet backbone.
• Run VM's to interface with company infrastructure / enterprise systems.
• Research network and telecommunication products, services, protocols, and standards on existing equipment, hardware and software upgrades.
• Load Balance and apply QoS to various networking equipment.
• Interface equipment with various LAN's, SAN's.
• Work with Firewall equipment, troubleshoot network connectivity, work on creating network fail-over strategies.
• Work on Network Security, architect V-Lan's.
• Work with Voip - SIP
• Work with Multi-Layer networks TCP/IP Layers 1-4 and OSI Model layers 1-7
• Manage operation of Cloud Servers and backups with AWS and Azure.

Requirements:

• 7+ Years experience in Networking, IT Infrastructure.
• Working Experience of network Protocols (DHCP, VLAN 802.11 wireless), IP address management, routing, DNS, Prefer knowledge in Cisco Managed Switches.
• Experience in troubleshooting enterprise Networks, Multi-layer networks, STP - spanning tree protocols, static and dynamic routing, failover strategies, QOS.
• SIP and Voip experience, performing backups, networking & updates on cloud servers.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages.
• Prefer someone who can keep network running in a mixed environment (consisting of older equipment and newer equipment).
• Knowledge of network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark etc.
• Experience with Windows Servers is a plus and Virtualizing is a plus.
• Experience with network security
• Prefer experience with both physical networks and SDN - software defined networks.
• Prefer experience with someone who can design enterprise network infrastructure...or for the most part can troubleshoot complex networks.
• BSIT or equivalent
