Job Description

The senior multimedia producer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing a variety of multimedia content, including but not limited to promotional videos, thought leadership videos, how-to/explainer videos, website and social media animations, as well as engineering for audio only content such as podcasts. The senior multimedia producer utilizes sketches, storyboards and animatics to develop concepts prior to producing final pieces. This role includes project managing story writing, graphic design, music content, and other elements of a piece, as well as influencing team members to ensure all pieces of a project are delivered on time and with the expected quality.

Primary Responsibilities Of This Position

  • Act as the producer of content from concept, design and execution of a variety of multimedia content; take complex topics and create clear, easy to understand outputs
  • Clearly communicate concepts and designs through mock-ups and storyboards providing an idea of intended finished design; seek and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, including very senior leaders, garnering consensus on the concepts, visions, and final product
  • Collaborate with, influence, and drive multiple stakeholders to ensure completed output aligns with the original intent
  • Create complex animations, shoot original video footage, and source quality stock footage as needed
  • Edit and work with multiple media types including video, music/audio, voiceover talent, and more.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and designers; provide direction to freelance video resources as needed
  • Project management including scoping projects according to budget requirements, building detailed timelines, and managing both throughout the production process
  • Stay current on the latest design trends and advancements in media techniques


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in art, design or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in equivalent roles including healthcare and technology industry experience.
  • Proficiency with animation software, editing software, design tools and audio recording equipment; Skilled in the latest Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proven ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects and to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as freelance contractors.
  • Positive, problem-solving mindset able to communicate recommendations and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
