Senior Medical Director

A global biotech with multiple Phase I and an upcoming Phase II program is seeking an experienced Medical Director to support their clinical development. The company recently received $90mn+ in funding has multiple assets under management.

Now I am looking for a highly motivated Senior Medical Director to support the Chief Medical Officer to design, implement and feedback on 1x IND Entry (Q4/Q1 2025), 1x Phase I (Ongoing) and 1x Phase II prep (Q2 2025) - all solid tumor programs.

Note - I have 2x positions to fill here (details below).

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide medical oversight and expertise in clinical trial design, protocol development, and data analysis.
• With CMO, biomarker team and others select smart primary/secondary endpoints, patient criteria etc.
• Support with Medical Monitoring on Global Trials and provide timely updates for the CMO.
• Collaborate with the team to review and interpret clinical trial data and provide recommendations for future development plans.
• Ensure alignment of clinical strategies with overall corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Clinical Operations team and the CRO to ensure the operational aspects of clinical trials are progressing smoothly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including translational research, Clin ops, regulatory affairs, Medical Writers etc to ensure alignment of clinical strategies and efficient communication.

Qualifications:

• MD degree needed.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical trial oncology experience in the industry.
• NOTE: I have a junior position open too - if you only have an academic oncology background, please also apply.
• Strong Oncology or Onco-Haem background.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Able to work 3-4 days in office (Watertown).

• There are two positions open. For the senior position we are offering $250,000 to $320,000
