Senior Materials Manager

BioTalent have partnered with an exciting Cell Therapy company in the Greater Boston area to search for Senior Materials Manager. As the Senior Materials Manager you will be responsible for strategic and tactical oversight of current and future material locations across their cGMP facilities.

This role will offer you:

• Opportunity to join a high growth Biotech, who and manufacturing a licenced product while working on developing a future pipeline of cell therapy products.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of materials managers, leads and technicians, providing leadership, guidance and direction for cGMP compliant materials management projects.
• Work with Materials Manager to oversee cycle counting and physical counting of inventory.
• Strategically plan and staff for future workload to meet or exceed productivity performance standards.
• Oversee selection, development, and motivation of qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.
• Serve as SME for audit activities (internal & external)

You will bring the following:

• Bachelors Degree (Life Sciences or related field) with 7+ years, or Associate’s degree with 10+ years, or GED or equivalent with 10+ years of experience working in a cGMP environment in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or equivalent. Must possess solid working knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with inventory control, material receipt, and material transfer.
• A working knowledge with Cell Therapy or advanced biologics manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
