Senior Manager Sustainability (Remote)

Full time, UK, Netherlands, Spain or US

You will lead and implement sustainability initiatives, align them with the company's strategic goals, and manage key assessments and reporting, such as the annual EcoVadis and CDP Responses. The role involves driving actions to reduce our environmental impact, overseeing environmental data collection, and ensuring effective communication of sustainability efforts. You will also play a leading role in preparing the company for our first CSRD response. Additionally, you will support client-related sustainability inquiries, conduct research on new developments, and educate internal stakeholders through targeted learning sessions.

As a Senior Manager Sustainability, you will

  • Define and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with the company's business strategy
  • Lead annual EcoVadis assessments, CDP Responses, and SBTI target strategies
  • Manage annual environmental data collection process for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 and CSRD report
  • Manage the delivery of our company Environmental, Health and Safety system and annual ISO certification audit process across our offices
  • Engage with program management and sales teams on client-related sustainability enquiries, supplier surveys, RFP responses and external audits.
  • Keep abreast of new sustainability developments and legislation and manage updates to sustainability policies and relevant documentsEducate and engage internal stakeholders on key sustainability initiatives and topics

About You

  • Extensive experience in sustainability or related field in corporate environment
  • Proven track record in managing sustainability initiatives and reporting
  • Direct cxperience of submitting EcoVadis, CDP, or other sustainability questionnaire
  • Experience of environmental data collection in a complex organisation
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly with global and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in data analysis and research related to sustainability developments and legislation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and innovative mindset
  • Ability to educate and engage internal stakeholders

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Manager Sustainability is between $80,000 and $90,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
