Summary
The Senior Manager of Strategic Risk Management is responsible for supporting the cross functional leadership, governance, innovation, and management of strategic risk identification, evaluation, prioritization, mitigation, and reporting processes. The Senior Manager also serves as liaison to leadership for reporting on and receiving direction for strategic risk identification, risk response plans, and plan implementation progress.
What You'll Do
Facilitates the identification of strategic enterprise risks throughout the organization.
Manages the development of the strategic risk management policies, practices, and tools necessary to implement an approved risk management framework.
Partners with other leaders to align risk management activities with the enterprise strategy, applicable legal and regulatory standards, and rating agency requirements.
Leads cross-functional teams in developing risk response plans that include regular risk assessment updates and the prioritization and implementation of mitigation actions.
Maintains strict confidentiality of key risks.
Fosters relationships at appropriate levels.
Promotes a supportive culture and fosters knowledge and understanding of Strategic Risk Management.
Supports the oversight of initiatives to implement risk management strategies, metrics, and reporting mechanisms for strategic risks.
Supports a high performance, accountable culture, clearly setting expectations, mentoring direct reports, coaching, and motivating the team and supporting professional development plans for all members of the team ensuring appropriate skill sets and resources are in place to meet current and future needs.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years cumulative and progressive post-degree required.
Education
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
