Senior Manager Project Finance

We are seeking a Senior Project Finance Manager, based in Boston, to work for a Global Financial Advisory company who focus on the renewable energy and clean technology markets.

You will be joining a team that focus on international energy transition projects

As a senior member of the advisory deal team, you will be right in the middle of all the action. This includes originating and working on impactful transactions to leading missions, you will be accountable for the smooth execution of advisory missions relating to financial structuring, raising debt or leading M&A transactions.

You will be the primary point of contact for prospects, clients, other stakeholders and the rest of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Originating financial advisory missions in the energy transition, by utilizing and expanding your existing business network in the US and building upon our existing relationships
• Being innovative and entrepreneurial in finding new business opportunities in the US
• Taking responsibility for advisory missions e.g. relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or supporting M&A equity finance transactions
• Leading the interactions with clients, banks and other project stakeholders
• Supervising financial analysts on the development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects
• Overseeing due diligence processes including work prepared by other advisors
• Gathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company such as electricity markets, debt markets or venture capital markets and emerging sectors of the energy transition
• The role requires US securities licensing which will be sponsored by broker dealer affiliate
• The successful candidate will become a registered principal of the US broker dealer
• Being active in sharing knowledge, building networks and lead business development
• Active participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen and going the extra mile for the client

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with a Master's or similar degree, preferably in Finance or Engineering, having 10+ years of relevant work experience and a demonstrated interest in the energy transition
• Leadership in the energy transition industry with a breadth of relationships in the industry
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to learn quickly
• A strong understanding and mastering of financial concepts and products
• The ability to communicate complex ideas with ease and simplicity
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Initiative, ownership and accountability for allocated tasks
• The ability to work in cross border teams with a willingness to travel abroad
• Empathy and willingness to understand the needs and aspirations of relevant stakeholders

Package:

Salary up to $250,000 annually, complemented by a bonus of up to 85%.
