Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Banking Digital Credit Card Senior Operations Manager with specialized expertise in Change Management and Merger & Acquisition (M&A). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the credit card industry preferably with leading credit card brands, including digital issuance and interactions with vendors and must have Merger & Acquisition experience. This role is pivotal for overseeing day-to-day operations and providing strategic advisory for integration-related work during a merger or acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight:
Act as the interim leader, managing day-to-day operations and integration activities.
Provide strategic advisory services for integration work related to mergers and acquisitions.
Oversee a team of SMEs and interim leaders, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Develop and train the interim leader designated to assume the role permanently.
Operations Management:
Lead and manage related to credit card operations, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of processes and systems.
Develop and implement plans, timelines, and budgets.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors in the card space, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Digital Issuance:
Oversee and manage the digital issuance of credit cards, ensuring seamless and secure processes.
Implement innovative digital solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Merger & Acquisition Integration:
Lead the integration of acquired networks (ATM/Rails/Card) and brands.
Ensure seamless transition and integration of systems, processes, and teams.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A activities.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure all operations and integrations comply with security standards and regulations.
Oversee compliance with CBV (Card Brand Vendor) requirements and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Extensive 5 plus years experience in the credit card industry, with a strong background in project and program management.
Proven experience in change management and merger & acquisition integration within the financial services sector.
Familiarity with digital issuance processes and technologies.
Strong vendor management skills, with experience in negotiating and managing vendor relationships.
Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements in the credit card industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Highly Preferred Experience:
Experience with the acquisition and integration of networks (ATM/Rails/Card) and brands.
Previous experience in a strategic advisory role for M&A activities.
Experience with CBV (Card Brand Vendor) compliance and security protocols.
