Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Strategy will be reporting directly to SVP of Global Innovation Center (GIC) and working with various top executives across the company and broader SK affiliates related to Energy transition business. This highly visible role is instrumental in shaping strategic direction and growth trajectory of the company. This role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Learn established processes for market work from seasoned colleagues
Collect up-to dated market intelligence in broader energy transition sectors by engaging with industry experts, customers, players, and internal key stakeholders
Conduct market work which includes but not limited to market definition & segmentation, market forecast, competitive landscaping, assessing strategic and financial attractiveness to inform decision making
Define business cases and establish execution strategy of newly identified businesses
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of identified key initiatives
Where necessary, to assist and support partnerships and M&A deals partnering with internal and external deal teams
Other projects, task and duties as assigned
Qualifications
BS/ BA from an accredited college or university
4+ years progressively responsible experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Private Equity, and Investment Banking
Proven problem solver with strong analytical skills
Energy/ Green Technology experience will be significant plus
Result-oriented, open to next level challenges
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Data visualization
Travel expectation: Domestic- less than 25%, International-minimal
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York is $150K to $220K for Full-time employee. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be subject to several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of the candidate’s experience within the job; type and length of experience within the specific industry; educational background; and the location of employment. This salary range may not reflect the pay scale for employees who work in other states.
