Senior Manager of Product Management

Job Summary

This Senior Manager, Product Management role will oversee the Product Strategy and Solutions for the Inventory Products that support the Forecasting, Replenishment and Management of Inventory throughout the Supply Chain, and the Transformational efforts around getting to single systems.

Will partner with cross functional team to drive significant product portfolio growth across the U.S. Research, analyze and propose changes in products or services that will increase sales and market share. Support product marketing efforts on a Regional and National basis for products/merchandise directed towards customers and internal sales staff.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Provides market, industry and competitive expertise and analysis to drive product positioning. Understand customers, influencers and value chain to develop product offerings with clear advantage over competitive offerings.
• Maintains competitive benchmarking awareness with customers, sales and marketing. Tracks product performance and insures product portfolios maintain a fresh compelling assortment. Tracks and advises cross functional teams of industry design trends, new technology, new product innovations, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Defines and executes product strategies for new and existing products through research and feasibility analysis.
• Develops new product introduction processes and leads implementation.
• Works with cross functional team to provide back-up support on marketing collateral development, new product launches, packaging development, and brand messaging that helps drive revenue and margins. Assists sales personnel in the promotion and sales of products and development of sales tools, customer training programs materials.
• Collaborates with appropriate colleagues in the development of regional and national sales forecasts, budgets and goals.
• Supports business channel/segment expansion through effective product management and assortment development.
