Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Finance will oversee the financial operations and strategic financial planning for a private equity-backed company. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the company's growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a strong understanding of private equity dynamics.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and private equity expectations.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Partner with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
  • Draft management discussion and analysis of monthly and quarterly results for third-party key stakeholders.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed company is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of M&A processes, due diligence, and integration activities.
  • Experience building three statement financial models.
