Senior Manager of Finance

Oula is redesigning maternity care from the ground up. Our modern maternity centers combine the best of obstetrics and midwifery care to deliver a more evidence-based and personalized pregnancy experience. From our patient-centered medical team, welcoming clinic, and remote care platform, we are setting a new standard for pregnancy care that unifies modern medicine and human intuition. Our first clinic opened in Brooklyn in 2021. We've since opened a second clinic in downtown Manhattan with plans for more Oula clinics to come.

About the role: As the Senior Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for driving financial analyses to support strategic decision making and improve financial visibility across the business. You will work cross-functionally, collaborating with business partners to create forecasts, establish financial goals and provide analytical support. You will be a core member of the finance team and report to the VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Own Oula's five-year model and drive forecasting processes to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial visibility across the company and ensure financial rigor in decision making
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis and tracking of key metrics
• Partner with accounting on month-end close to ensure accuracy of financial reporting insights and understand variances
• Spearhead initiatives to optimize, streamline, and automate forecasting and other FP&A processes
• Strategic Finance
• Drive analyses to support strategic decision making across the business, including evaluating new services, geographic expansion and operational optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and present findings in clear, concise presentations to senior management
• Investor Relations
• Assist in preparing Board of Directors update materials as well as ongoing investor requests and communications
• Support future fundraising and due diligence processes
  

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field
• Work experience:
• If investment banking or private equity experience (preferred): 2+ years of work experience
• If corporate strategic finance / FP&A experience: 4+ years of work experience
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP and business fundamentals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  

Oula offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, and comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Salary Range

$140,000—$167,000 USD
