We're looking for a Senior Manager, Knowledge & Community who is customer-obsessed and driven to innovate as we build and transform how we drive self-service and engagement through knowledge management and community to all when they need it. The right candidate will help scale our knowledge base, documentation, and community programs along with establishing and driving world-class content and self-help experiences. This leadership role will report into the Performance, Education, and Knowledge (PEAK) Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Professional Services, PEAK, Portfolio, and Customer Success.

Pay Range
USD $158,000.00 - USD $238,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Knowledge & Community who is customer-obsessed and driven to innovate as we build and transform how we drive self-service and engagement through knowledge management and community to all when they need it. The right candidate will help scale our knowledge base, documentation, and community programs along with establishing and driving world-class content and self-help experiences. This leadership role will report into the Performance, Education, and Knowledge (PEAK) Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Professional Services, PEAK, Portfolio, and Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team focused on driving knowledge management and community internally and externally.
- Establish, manage, and lead a knowledge management and community strategy that drives engagement, self-service, and pure mindshare.
- Drive implementation and adoption of Knowledge Center Services (KCS) program, knowledge management, and community objectives and strategies.
- Is a trusted business partner to key stakeholders to consult and provide expertise on how knowledge and community can drive and deliver business outcomes and results.
- Provide oversight, thought leadership, and strategic/operational leadership to effectively align projects/programs and ensure organizational goals are executed with excellence and on time.
- Collaborates with other doc writing and community teams at Pure to further best practices, find alignment and partnership opportunities, and drive a integrated Pure approach to knowledge management and community.
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities that drive scale, innovation, and results.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership development to team members and across the organization.
- BA/BS Degree
- Minimum 5 years of managing people/teams.
- Minimum 8 years working in a technical knowledge, learning and/or relevant enablement organization.
- KCS v6 Practices certified.
- Experience and proficiency with Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) environments including XML, authoring tools, XML Schemas, and Information Architecture
- Proficiency with document formatting and publication tools such as WYSIWYG, HTML, DITA.
- Previous experience working in a technical and/or customer support organization.
- Ability to support multiple projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of effective project and program management experience.
- Expert in influence and negotiation, with deep understanding of effective change management.
- Expert communication skills and ability to effectively manage stakeholders of all levels internally and externally.
- Proven track record of driving results through knowledge management and community programs and strategies.
- Experience scaling, innovating, and driving operational excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across an organization.
- Superior project/program management, change management, and time management skills.
- Experience managing a team that works collaboratively, globally, and cross-functionally.
