The opportunity:

Operating at the intersection of logistics and tech has allowed Flexport to develop a unique value proposition that customers all over the globe love, resulting in exponential growth over the last 10 years. As part of our mission to make global trade easy for everyone, we are continuing to grow our implementation organization.

We are seeking an experienced Manager/Sr Manager of Implementation with a background overseeing a client-facing team within supply chain solutions and/or fulfillment. You'll be the lead of a high-performing implementation team and will be seen as the single threaded owner for onboarding our Flexport fulfillment clients across our biggest SMB, MM and ENT accounts. You’ll work remotely supporting our clients learning how to use our tech-enabled supply chain solutions. You will play a leading role in solving any customizations that a client might need along the way. Examples of activities you might be dealing with on a normal day range from leading a demo of our portal, creating and project managing a customized implementation strategy (internally and externally), or leading internally to support anything our clients need to drive an outstanding onboarding experience. Regular travel to our fulfillment centers is expected in order to maximize collaboration with our clients, operational and sales teams.

You will be:

• Growing and retaining Flexport’s biggest new fulfillment clients by driving their onboarding experience
• Leading and developing a team of onboarding specialists
• Measuring and reporting out on the onboarding team’s performance to the wider organization
• Nurturing client relationships by taking the time to deeply understand business needs, and ensure those needs are met internally
• Level setting our clients when certain desires are not reasonably possible
• Comfortable playing into a wide range of client services scope - most of the time you’ll feel like the leader of an implementation team but there are times that you’ll feel like an implementation specialist, account manager, account executive or customer support representative, and this does not stress you out
• Leading the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams, and holding all parties accountable
  
  

You should have:

• 5-7+ years’ experience in a client service capacity within fulfillment, supply chain, operations, or related field
• Deep project management experience and a natural ability to organize complexity into simplified plans
• Willingness to travel to our 5 fulfillment centers to collaborate internally and externally to best support our clients
• Passion for leading and developing a team
• Enthusiasm for connecting with clients of all backgrounds, and a prideful stance on creating an outstanding experience for clients
• A fast learning ability, a strong work ethic, and a burning desire to grow and retain our client base
• Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills
• An ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast moving environment
• A love for problem solving
• A dedicated and empathetic attitude to the client journey and experience

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.

Colorado Pay Range

$112,000 - $125,000 USD

New York City Pay Range

$112,000 - $125,000 USD
