Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our organization as a Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and driving profitable growth in our retail channel. You will partner closely with retail leadership to develop robust financial plans, forecasts, and analyses, ensuring data-driven decision making for optimizing store performance, and overall long term retail profitability.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the retail industry, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

This role will report directly to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

What you'll do:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the retail
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Topics include:
    • Store CAPEX payback
  • Bonus/Commission structure strategy/refinement
  • Tech implementation planning (ie. Mobile dressing room, omni channel programs)
  • 4-Wall profitability analysis
  • International profitability analysis
  • Long-range planning
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior
Retail Performance Management:

  • Monitor and evaluate retail 4-wall store performance, including sales, margins,, payroll expenses, and profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve store performance and drive
  • Partner with retail operations to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in retail performance.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • MBA or CPA
  • 7-10 years of experience preferred in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on retail or consumer goods.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expertise in Excel and financial planning software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory, and margin
  • Experience in a retail or front line manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the
  • Proven experience in a coach-player role, showcasing the ability to lead and contribute hands-
