Walmart’s FP&A Services Team plays a critical role in the company’s financial operations, focusing on both operations’ enablement and Commercial Finance insourcing to directly partner with our Business Segments Commercial Finance teams. As a Fortune 1 market leader, Walmart is committed to transforming its Finance operations across systems, people, and processes. The company is invested in a multi-year journey to centralize and modernize their Finance offerings including strategy, ERPs, and digital ways of working. The team is an embedded extension of our core finance operations and ensures the End-to-End execution of financial tool enablement, baseline creation of LRP / AOP / FSCT, as well as Decision Support across strategic initiatives.

As a manager on the FP&A services team, you will…

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and review of LRP, AOP, forecasting, ERP transformation enablement, and delivering the financial strategies of the company.
  • Research and analyze complex business anomalies and provide guidance to optimized solutions.
  • Develop and implement efficiency strategies focused on accuracy, speed to delivery, and quality.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior finance and technology leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve ways of working and deliverables.
  • Expand awareness of team goals, operating models, and value propositions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing ongoing feedback and identifying opportunities for growth.


You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have…

  • MBA or CPA, with certifications in related fields.
  • 8-15 years of experience in FP&A, finance transformation, and services preferably with exposure to retail, big 4, or mid-tier firms.
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction, ERP implementation, operational efficiency tools to perform related work.
  • Proficiency in financial acumen, data analysis and leveraging data to optimize decisioning.
  • Experience managing large strategic initiatives across multiple verticals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
