Job Summary

Bird is looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Operations. This crucial role in Bird’s finance team interacts frequently with the Executive team. The senior manager of financial operations will lead the Treasury function and manage revenue, fixed assets, and A/P. The role can be based remotely in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Cash reporting and business insights. Cash management, Fraud prevention, bank relationship mgmt
• Oversight over AP function and commission/variable payments to our partners
• Oversight over Billing systems and Revenue assurance
• Fixed Asset Management in conjunction with business operations and technology
• Colloborate with internal stakeholders to maintain a robust Travel and Expenses (T&E) policy framework that fits with Bird Core Values
• Oversee the administration/booking in NetSuite of the corporate credit card program as well as Navan
  
  

This role will be Remote and can be based in the United States or Canada

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive work experience
• Experience in scaling a team and rebuilding department infrastructure.
• Trains and develops staff
• 5+ years of previous supervisory experience in building and leading successful teams.
• A/P supervisory experience
• 5+ years of Treasury experience
• Experience with cash flow reporting
• Develops and implements financial strategies and policies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of Netsuite/Oracle
