Purpose

  • Oversees the update, preservation, and implementation of Hyundai Dealership and Genesis Retailer Standards & Image Guide to ensure the entire U.S. dealer network maintains strong brand identity through consistent interior/exterior brand image facility developments. This position is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and communication of the Hyundai Dealer and Genesis Retailer Facility Standards. The role will facilitate and manage positive vendor and dealer/retailer communications and relationships, develop, and incorporate process improvements and system enhancements to ensure the ongoing success of these initiatives. Ultimately, the position will work to build a strong brand awareness and Hyundai/Genesis presence at all retail facilities.

Major Responsibilities

  • Oversee the update and preservation of Hyundai Dealership and Genesis Retailer Standards & Image Guide in accordance with domestic and global standards to maintain consistency and develop strong brand identity at all dealership locations.
  • Consult with regions, dealers/retailers, and company-selected vendors on facility building and/or expansion plans to ensure compliance with operating requirements as well as proper representation of Hyundai product to customers.
  • Manage all aspects of the Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) and Corporate Identity Programs (CIP) including but not limited to:
    • Function as project management lead and work closely with regions, vendors, and various departments to further develop and coordinate all elements of these programs.
    • Initiate, schedule, and manage regional and vendor communication including meetings and conference call.
    • Govern variances from program compliance.
    • Oversee Dealer Facility Survey structure and pricing (Facility, CIP, Assessment).
    • Monitor vendor adherence to contract, inventory requirements, and quality control.
    • Collect, record, manage and report on dealer branding participation forms and dealer facility incentive enrollments as applicable, including HMC incentive submissions.
    • Monitor, manage and report on dealer facility branding progress.
Major Responsibilities (continued)

  • Manage vendor contracts, scopes of work and processing including but not limited to:
    • Be aware of current contract expiration.
    • Oversee completion of RFP’s and coordinate project vendor selections.
    • Develop project Scope of Work.
    • Initiate and manage execution of project PR/PO.
    • Manage program budgets.
    • Audit vendor pricing and billing.
    • Process vendor payments and dealer billing as appropriate.
  • Coordinate consistent corporate identity and point of sale materials in dealerships and to eliminate the possibility of any unauthorized use of Hyundai dealership signage.
  • Manage Dealer Development Market Representation budget reporting and annual processing.
  • Maintain as hoc tracking reports.
  • Develop as hoc presentation documents.
Authority

  • Position has authority to make day-to-day decisions that will resolve dealer issues that arise within policy and procedures.
  • Submit document, data, and signature authority up to a certain amount on all retail brand identity purchasing projects to the North America Purchasing department.
  • Ability to communicate (written and orally) the analysis for the decisions made.
  • Additional authority as given by leadership team.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Eight or more years of related experience managing complex projects, budget management, vendor management, and maintaining brand standards.
  • Automotive industry experience a plus.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Solid written and verbal presentation skills.

$107,000.00 - $145,000.00
