Responsibilities
As Mainspring Energy grows, we are looking for a player-coach who communicates well and is highly organized to help our entire company grow and operate more effectively and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and has a knack for problem-solving while driving the business forward. This role oversees facility and office management tasks, coordinating small to medium-sized projects, and fielding urgent facility and/or office requests. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for accomplishing tasks and working with outside contractors when tasks call for something more specialized. This role has plenty of room for growth as you work across all organizations in our fast-growing company. So, if you enjoy working across the entire organization, interfacing with outside vendors, and coordinating many projects and activities, this is the position for you!

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Field all facilities related requests for repair or maintenance, coordinating with outside vendors as needed for quotes and scheduling of work
- Maintain vendor relationships to support preventive maintenance, facilities cleaning, recycling, and hazardous waste disposal
- Interface and communicate with company leadership, coworkers, and property management (where required) to ensure all are informed of project costs and impacts
- Assist with office related projects such as desk moves, supply ordering/tracking, and general space maintenance
- Responsible for providing administrative support, initiating communication and coordination with necessary departments to complete requests
- 10 years experience in Facilities maintenance (hands on and vendor coordination)
- Solid computer skills with purchasing systems and office applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Solid communication and negotiation skills for working with outside vendors and working internally across departments
- Ability to work independently and schedule work in line with company priorities
