The ideal candidate for this role is required to have 7-10 years of writing, editorial, and/or communications experience in a global matrix environment. This candidate is required to have extensive experience in content creation for internal communications, organizational culture, and employee engagement. Technical expertise in communication tools is essential, along with the ability to create compelling images and messages tailored for different audiences and channels. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary, demonstrating the ability to think strategically and creatively, and execute plans with attention to detail and quality. This candidate should have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication plans aligned with the organization’s values and objectives, with the capability to measure the outcomes. Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours when necessary, and willingness to travel as required.

What are we expecting from you?

Reporting to the AVP, Human Resources, you will be responsible for adapting and deploying the Global Internal Communications strategy and vision at the regional level. You will have ownership on all Internal Communications topics while working collaboratively with VCA HQ IC/EB team, VCA Regional HR team, VCA Executive Management.

In This Role, You Will

  • Implement Internal Communications strategy and initiatives to the region in collaboration with HQ Internal Communications team and Regional HR leadership.
  • Deploy Internal Communications guidelines and governance in the region.
  • Develop and execute regional strategy that aligns to business goals, drives employee engagement, and supports DEI initiatives.
  • Create and maintain internal communications channels such as Viva Engage, Teams, and regional intranet.
  • Using professional writing skills to create and edit executive messages, employee communications, organizational announcements, HR PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and more.
  • Lead employee engagement activities such as townhall discussions, employee experience surveys and celebration events.
  • Work closely with Regional Talent Acquisition to create & deploy employer branding strategy which may include career website, communication kits and more.
  • Daily operational monitoring of industry trends & competitors’ initiatives for internal comms and employer branding, reporting about regional/local initiatives.

Expected Salary Range- $120k - $140k
