Basic Qualifications

Oversees strategic analysis and decision making related to merchandising, marketing, and customer experience initiatives. Helps build business cases to support decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops approaches to drive the development of departmental initiatives. Builds business cases for key omni-channel initiatives and programs. Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure completion and alignment.
- Manages key delivery milestones and reviews results.
- Leads meetings with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives. Communicates and partners cross-functionally, including at the executive level, to understand, recommend and implement strategies.
- Builds frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues both leveraging existing resources and creating new innovative concepts. Develops effective working relationships with stakeholders to achieve targeted goals and/or solutions.
- Develops plans that align with sales and profit goals and delivers end-to-end financial results. Recommends actions based on historical performance and forecasts. Develops short- and medium-range strategies and plans, while ensuring strategic alignment with long-range plans.
- Reviews strategic analysis related to category trends and marketing performance; translates into actionable recommendations; shares insights across organization
- Translates strategic objectives into actionable analyses and plans. Champions pro-active sharing of information to drive results, process improvement and best practices.
- May manage development of financial budgets and forecasts that align with strategic business initiatives. May develop financial, operational, and customer metrics and manage measurement of metrics.
- Creates and executes more complex and cross-divisional projects. Utilizes project management skills to create client-focused deliverables, delegate work, execute project analysis, and deliver strategic results.
- Cultivates team moral, motivation, and loyalty through continuous training and mentorship, setting obtainable performance goals, providing clear communication and constructive feedback.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategy, Consulting, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, or Marketing. OR High School/GED and at least 7 years experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategy, Consulting, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, or Marketing.
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including at the executive level, in the business community & with external partners.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
- Experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
- Master’s degree OR MBA
- Experience working in the digital space.
- Experience working with P&L concepts - revenue, cogs, gross profit margin, operating expenses and income.
