Develop and implement communication tactics that support business objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical, commercial, advocacy).
Collaborate with and foster strong connections with cross-functional colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency of business strategy and messaging across teams.
Work closely with advocacy team member(s) on patient-focused initiatives supporting corporate and advocacy partners' goals.
Perform day-to-day management of digital and social media platforms, including content development, content reviews and approvals, monitoring, and analytics.
Develop creative internal communication tactics that drive employee engagement across various channels aligned with the company mission/vision, strategic priorities, and culture.
Work alongside and assist in managing the PR agency and other agency partners to develop and execute communication plans.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the company's internal communications strategy and channels.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline is required.
5-7 years of healthcare communications experience at either agencies or in-house across public relations, corporate communications, product communications, and digital and social media
Experience working on FDA approval and product launches is preferred.
Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft various communications materials, including press releases, key messages, and Q&As, to support unbranded and branded initiatives, programs, and events for internal and external audiences
Proven ability to develop and execute multi-faceted strategic communications campaigns in a matrixed organization
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deliverables and be accountable for multiple projects with competing deadlines
Demonstrated experience using social media and digital collaboration tools for professional communication
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry compliance, regulatory guidelines, and company policies
Able to own projects and work both collaboratively and independently.
Have an entrepreneurial mindset, a tolerance for ambiguity, and a passion for helping patients
Preferred Skills:
Experience using Veeva systems.
Familiarity with submitting documents through Legal, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs.
Experience in product-to-pipeline communications leading to FDA approval.
