Summary: CRG’s well-known manufacturer is searching for a Senior Manager of Carrier Operations to join their team. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and external carrier operations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication. This role supports new business and lane opportunities, collaborating closely with management and operations teams to align carrier strategies and optimize routing guides.

Opportunity: Direct Hire

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 + variable compensation component

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance carrier network through new and existing relationships.
• Negotiate carrier pricing and lane coverage.
• Manage carrier database within Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Support new client onboarding and carrier selection processes.
• Maintain carrier profiles, networking strategies, and vendor databases.
• Facilitate carrier claim administration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or carrier procurement.
• Proficiency in TMS and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets.
• Strong negotiation skills with knowledge of carrier contracts and compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
