Senior Manager, Biopharma Program Management

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead team of PMs with responsibilities for project management and day-to-day logistics for biopharma client partnership programs
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate internal resources across commercial, clinical and scientific, and lab operations teams at GeneDx to support effective program execution
  • Collaborate with GeneDx's development team to translate client requests into development activities
  • Manage data reporting processes and execution
  • Deepen client relationships with senior members of partner organizations, including pharmaceutical, biotech and patient advocacy groups
  • Build the procedures and infrastructure to support scalable growth of biopharma and other partner programs
  • Identifying unmet needs among existing partners and generating ideas for product development priorities
  • Will be responsible for teams' revenue tracking to goals. Partner with Finance to ensure accuracy with tracking.

EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • 2+ years successfully managing direct reports
  • 7+ years of experience in relevant program management roles in biotech/biopharma industry
  • Strong customer-focused orientation and exceptional judgement to ensure diverse client needs are addressed amidst an unstructured environment
  • Willing to design and build scalable processes and infrastructure to support the program management team
  • Experience developing project management standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency across the team
  • Eagerness to engage with internal and client teams regarding the scientific, medical, commercial and technological aspects of genetics
  • Has experience identifying operational efficiencies to streamline workflows across functional units
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, reporting, and identifying the "so what" behind the data
  • Experience manipulating data in Excel and/or Tableau and an aptitude for learning new software tools
  • Curiosity for working on a diverse set of partner and program types
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Highly motivated individual with an ability to thrive in an unstructured, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fantastic team member with a willingness to identify and assume roles that drive the company's success
  • Domain knowledge in clinical genetics/genomics

Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range

$128,000—$159,000 USD

  • Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
  • Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
  • Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete.
