Job Description: Senior Actuarial Manager


Location: Remote (must reside in Eastern/Central time zones within the US)


Target Salary Range: $145K – $180K, plus 25% bonus


Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Actuarial Manager with extensive experience in traditional or life insurance, specifically skilled in cash flow testing and people management. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, in a dynamic work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team responsible for model usage and testing, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct cash flow testing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on strategic initiatives.


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience with demonstrated stability in previous roles.
  • FSA or Career ASA designation; preference for candidates not actively pursuing exams.
  • Strong background in cash flow testing within insurance contexts.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience.


Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with AXIS or ALFA projection models (coding skills not required).
  • Outgoing personality conducive to team collaboration and leadership.
