About the Role

As the first front-line manager of Account Management at Proof, you will play a critical role in creating the expansion sales function at Proof. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to optimize account management processes, nurture relationships, and drive revenue for our clients. A revenue leader, you are comfortable forecasting, managing pipeline, deal strategy, and risk mitigation. As a customer leader, you will study our market, business, competitors, and tech landscape to advocate for solution-driven strategies. A people leader, you will hire and develop a team of quota carrying Account Managers, building process, playbooks, and culture along the way. We have lofty goals in 2024. Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Hire and manage a team of Account Managers of varying skill and experience levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide AMs to success in their KPIs and career paths at Proof.
  • Build account management specific enablement and career paths.

Revenue Growth

  • Manage expansion sales pipeline and forecast in a named book of business.
  • Build expansion sales plays that can scale successfully.
  • Cultivate strategies across verticals and customer tiers, from strategic accounts to SMB/scale.
  • Streamline sales processes, develop sales collateral and tools, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and exceed expectations.

Internal Partnership

  • Liaise with leaders across Proof, both within the Customer Org and outside.
  • Ideate and implement processes for scale.
  • Collaborate with peers on operating procedures that provide role and process clarity.
  • Act as point of escalation for clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years' proven track record of success as a team leader for a revenue-based Account Management or Customer Success team (revenue-based required)
  • 4+ years as a quota carrying expansion sales, account management, or customer success individual contributor
  • Builder mentality with experience creating playbooks, processes, and operating procedures cross-functionally
  • Aptitude for building internal relationships
  • Legal industry and/or start-up experience preferred

Compensation

  • Salary range base $150,000, OTE $210,000 based on location and experience
