Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of shipments, maintaining data integrity, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Coordination: Ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments by coordinating with transportation providers.
• Customer Service: Professionally respond to customer concerns and queries, acting as a liaison between customers and carriers.
• Data Management: Enter orders and third-party information into our proprietary TMS software, maintaining data integrity.
• Carrier Selection: Select qualified carriers to meet customer expectations and handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Special Arrangements: Make special shipping arrangements as necessary and prepare transportation-related documents for customers and carriers.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services provided meet the required quality standards.
• Logistical Optimization: Develop, analyze, and optimize logistical procedures to enhance supply chain efficiency and organization.
• Document Collection: Collect transportation-related documents from carriers.
• Problem Solving: Provide solutions and utilize problem-solving skills when issues arise, addressing and resolving shipment issues promptly.
• Communication: Effectively communicate issues with co-workers and managers.
• Training and Development: Present various forms of skills training for employees and provide guidance to support the growth of logistics coordinators.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects, creating project scopes, objectives, and SOPs.
• Account Management: Maintain high-profile customer accounts, monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
• Collaboration: Work with the sales team to identify solutions to customer needs and requirements.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, and opportunities to accurately quote customers and secure new business.
