Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loan Originator (LO) with a proven track record of generating substantial monthly production, specifically in the realm of non-qualified mortgage (non-QM) and international loan products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of lending practices, compliance regulations, and market trends within the mortgage industry. This is a remote position based in Tampa, Florida, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team (open to Texas residents as well).


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and cultivate a robust pipeline of loan applications, focusing on Non-QM, DSCR and international loan products.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of borrower qualifications, creditworthiness, and financial documentation to determine loan viability.
  • Collaborate with borrowers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process from application to closing.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, compliance standards, and market trends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and expertise.
  • Utilize various loan origination software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and success of the company through networking, relationship building, and participation in company initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Loan Originator with a brokerage background, preferably focused on Non-QM, DSCR, and international loans.
  • Proven track record of consistently generating a monthly production volume of at least $2 million.
  • Active NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) license.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing loan origination software and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving business goals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working with international loans and navigating complex cross-border lending transactions.
