Senior Investment Controller

Our client is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Investment Controller to join their Private Markets Financial Operations team based in NYC. The successful candidate will have the chance to build and manage relationships across a broad range of internal teams and stakeholders, and be actively involved in various projects and initiatives implementation.

What You'll Do

• Oversee, manage and review Net Asset Value and investor reporting processes ensuring timely and quality output delivery to clients and other stakeholders for private market funds and mandates
• Forecasting, effective cash management and performance measurement of private equity funds
• Monitor and analyze the investment related activities for various private equity programs
• Support audit coordination
• Coordinate with global teams on investment controlling related activities
• Supervise and review work performed by service providers (internal or external)
• Facilitate top down and bottom up information flow and coordination with other internal teams
• Provide technical advice and knowledge to team
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Senior Investment Controller position will bring a wealth of experience from the private equity industry. A CPA qualification is preferred, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Accounting or finance degree or qualification. CPA preferred
• 8+ years in private equity industry in investment controlling, fund administration or fund audit
• Platform and process development experience is a must. Infrastructure experience would be a plus.
• Developed IT skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
