We are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet business demands without overstocking.
Analyze and forecast inventory needs using historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts.
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, such as turnover rates, stockouts, and order accuracy.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless inventory operations and accurate inventory records.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory processes and reducing excess or obsolete stock.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain analysis.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
